Flea Market - Melrose and Fairfax, Los Angeles April 29 2007

We walked around the Fairfax Flea Market not really looking for anything in general. We furnished our apartment with odds and ends from the market. Now we come for the random gems. I found a pair of bomber shades, she got a wooden box. This photo was of the Hitch Couture Boutique Trailer, but I seemed to get this lady by accident, she doesn't look to happy about it.

Civil War

Soooo the Civil War was crazy. Tons of people from the same country meeting up in large fields to blow each others heads off. Thats nuts. They were brave, they wrote history. And yet they were just doing what they had to. If you look at some of them it almost feels like you could be in the photo with them going about your duties, fighting for freedom.

Bus Stop On Melrose

Another photo taken while driving down Melrose Ave. This dude was waiting for the bus.... I have always wanted to find a way to take pictures of folks waiting for the bus. Many thoughts run through their heads...

Eating Brunch on Melrose Ave April 2007

I was driving to work, came to a stop at an intersection and managed to snap this at the last second. I'm not sure where they are eating, but it's somewhere on Melrose Ave between La Brea and Fairfax in Hollywood. Take around 11am April 25th 2007.

Pigeon Guy in City Hall Park, NYC - September 2004

You sir are beautiful. You are dressed like someone who must have a day job in one of the city court house jobs. And yet here you are a man of the birds in disguise. LOVE IT!

Boat Ride - NYC on the 4th of July 2005

This may have been the nicest afternoon I have ever had. We cast out from the World Trade Center dock and sailed around in the sound between Manhattan, New Jersey, and Brooklyn right by the Statue of Liberty for close to two hours. There were 40 people on the boat, I only knew 8 of them. Who were you?

Fleet Week - San Francisco, October 2006

Fleet Week, San Francisco CA October 2006. I was there with Briana and Lara, we might know each other but I can't remember. This was an amazing day, it started with the Hardly Strictly Blue Grass Festival in Golden Gate Park. By 1 o'clock we were on the roof among 30 other people drinking beer and watching all the ships in the bay and the Blue Angels did an air show.

Golden Gate Bridge January 29th 2006

Golden Gate Bridge, January 29th 2006, it must have been 10am for me, you were taking a walk on the bridge with a friend. Or maybe you were driving a Toyota?

Santa Monica Pier, January 21st 2006

Santa Monica, CA January 21st. We came to see the Ashes and Snow exhibit. I can't tell what you had on your mind, but I think you were watching the ocean.

West 14th St. South Side of 14th facing East - New York City March 23, 2006

w14th St. New York City March 23 2006
Sorry dude I know this isn't a very flattering picture, god only knows what kind of foot traffic you were navigating at that moment. Maybe it's the high pitch screaming sound the buses make when they are lowering to the curb.

People Watcher - Post #1: The Getty Santa Monica January 21st 2007 - afternoon, and City Hall Manahattan March 23rd, 2006 - morning.

I've taken pictures since I was 5 years old when my dad bought me a 16mm kodak snapshot camera. I've always paid attention to the focus of each photograph and gone out of my way to make other people feel comfortable while I took a shot so that I was only taking pictures of people who were okay with being photographed. Sometimes however it is impossible to avoid the extras; the miscellaneous people in the background who possibly didn't even know their picture was taken. Exploring these people within my own photographs has become a deep interest. I am a big fan of people watching, and looking at their pictures wondering who they are and what they are doing now is outright compelling. This blog is for those who share this fascination.. and possibly even for the people it reveals. This is a small world - crazier things have happened.

January, 21 2007. You were at the Getty on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The main attraction was the Icon's of Sinai exhibit, it looks like you were standing in line for some coffee.

It was a chilly morning at City Hall in Manhattan on March 23rd 2006. I was meeting Leya to transfer the business certificate for Dog Walker NYC. It appears that you were walking west towards TriBeCa
